Velvet Mauve

I really wanted to like this shade and had very high hopes after seeing the clips of this colour on other girls, however it absolutely did not live up to my expectations. As an brown skinned person with darker shade lips ie not perfectly pink lips, the colour was not suited to me at all. I truly wish as a brand geared towards brown skin and Indian culture, you would take this into consideration when showcasing how the shade of lipsticks would look on all types.

Ordered this lipstick(Berry) to go with dreamy liner and it s the perfect combo for my south Asian skin tone. It’s smooth and not drying. I’m more of a gloss girl so I’m excited about the brands upcoming launch:)

The color on the models and the color shown for the product were very different from the actual color . I wish I could return it , without any issues . Not happy with Velvet Mauve
