Material was thicker and heavier than I expected

Very stylish, but not the most practical for hiking or backpacking, especially in Texas heat and humidity. The material was thicker and heavier than I expected, and the button-and-belt closure was more cumbersome than convenient, especially when you're on the trail and rushing to the outhouse. I was really excited and thought these would be both stylish and practical for long-distance hiking, but unfortunately these only delivered on the style.

IMPRESSED

I am so pleasantly surprised with this pants. Yes they are shorter, I’m 5”5 and they are the perfect length to wear mid rise hiking boots with without cinching the bottoms, or cinch them and get more of a jogger look. I’m 5”5 and pretty evenly proportioned. I wore these hiking in NM and it was some triple digit days and while I was hot the pants didn’t contribute much to that and seemed to breath well. They seemed to repel moisture well too. Once there are more colors I’ll definitely buy more. As far as sizing, im consistently a US 8 but a little bigger in the butt. I ordered large because I would prefer mobility and a little baggy than skin tight on the bottom. The high rise made it perfect to wear a cropped tank top.
