Meridian 24 first impression.....WOW! As promised, no plastics in the packaging, obvious quality, sturdy yet sleek, beautiful design, and impressive output. There is perfect spacing within the LED clusters and between the two groups in the Meridian 24. There are powerful and numerous LEDs in the near violet range, and the blues....wow. The 3.5K and the 5.5k LEDs are so nice. What a quality light! The app functioned perfectly and is very user-friendly. I was able to choose a practice schedule from the community tab with a few clicks. I was then able to setup a custom schedule to mimic the modified Saxby Schedule I was running on my old lights, which will be no problem at all. I can add as many segments as I want to each of the channels. AWESOME! I took some par measurements, and this light is powerful. My max peak is only at about 45% overall intensity, and I am hitting 300 par in between the lights, and 250 plus under each light. I am even getting some solid par way off to the sides of the lights for my light sensitive corals. The stock balance lenses are great, with zero light spill. They are in a hybrid fixture mounted 11 inches above the water and work great. If I was able to mount them higher as recommended, I could certainly have gotten more spread. My corals look great one week in and my color pop is amazing lately in my cycle. I can run heavy whites at midday, then heavy blues at night. Amazing lights.
