These sleeves shuffle well and are sturdy. They feel like a blend of Ultra Pro’s weight and thickness and Dragon Shield’s matte finish. I would recommend these to others..

New Favorite Sleeves!

I walked into Bards & Cards in Downtown SD planning on picking up some sleeves. They were low in stock on a lot of product at that specific moment, and I got talking to the shop owner (Jarin?) about sleeves. He had mentioned that Kraken had just recently gotten into the sleeve game, and after trying out some samples from them, he liked them. I decided to make the trip down to Chula Vista to buy a couple packs of sleeves because I wanted to support local. And I can say that after sleeving up a MTG EDH deck, as well as decks for other TCGs, I absolutely love them. I love the price point. I love the shuffle feel. So far there hasn't been any abnormal wear on the sleeves from playing weekly. I can say that they are definitely up there with DragonShield and UG Katanas. I actually like them more than GameGenic sleeves too. The only complaint I have right now is that I want more colors available! But I know that will only come with time.
