XL Zone Plus Crash Pad

Perfect to use between my home wall and outdoors. It is a great size and the extra pad is a nice addition to cover any extra hazards. I like how easy it is to deploy and it lays flat on the shoulder straps. Carrying feels good with the load lifters, and wrapping the hip belt around the shoulder straps makes it feel more stable. I am worried about the straps breaking from contact with the ground, but havent had any issues yet.

Overall, I think the quality of the foam and exterior fabric is good. I do find the quality of the carrying system to be subpar. In comparison to some other pads, I’ve used the low attachment points of the straps allow the pad to swing and bang around a little more than I would like. The lack of ability to adjust the attachment points of the straps is also a negative, making it less adjustable to different body, sizes and different packing schemes. I also find the lack of a chest strap to be annoying for a long haul.
