Used before and found to be a good alternative to using mono.

Very useful for ribbing,with a difference. I prefer it to some of the coloured wires. Ideal with dubbed bodies. Good colours too.

Subtle Ribbing Effect.

This ribbing gives a different effect to plain wires. Subtle reflections that catch the light making the fly look alive. Works really well on dubbed bodies . I used the dark brown ( which looks like peacock ) to rib small black dubbed jig nymphs and they look great and catch well. I have used other colours to rib dry flys with dubbed bodies like Midas and Hoppers, and they look great.
