Build Quality over is Excellent; Three Stars for: very limited clamp opening, allowing only narrow-spine knives; Threaded rod is capped with a cheap plastic heat shrink and not a nice nylon ball nut on the gliding side and unprotected somewhat dangerous top portion of the threaded rod'. It is a great and perfect tool for thinner and middle size blades, and I use it for larger thin blades as well, my use involves a cast Iron machinist plate (9 inches by 12 inches by 2 inches thick) charged with Diamond powder; the T2 glides along on a nylon cutting board (18 inches by 30 inches by one inch thick) upon which the cast Iron plate rests.

I used this to sharpen my Benchmade Bugout on a diamond stone and it worked great. Very easy to use and kept a very consistent angle. Great way to use any stone and get the same results as a fixed angle sharpening system!
