Hapstone T2 Rotating Angled Knife Guide

The clamp works great on narrow blades! However it struggle with thicker blades and and deflects when clamped tight enough to keep it from moving! It also struggles clamping full flat grinds even with the extra tightening screw!

Build Quality over is Excellent; Three Stars for: very limited clamp opening, allowing only narrow-spine knives; Threaded rod is capped with a cheap plastic heat shrink and not a nice nylon ball nut on the gliding side and unprotected somewhat dangerous top portion of the threaded rod'. It is a great and perfect tool for thinner and middle size blades, and I use it for larger thin blades as well, my use involves a cast Iron machinist plate (9 inches by 12 inches by 2 inches thick) charged with Diamond powder; the T2 glides along on a nylon cutting board (18 inches by 30 inches by one inch thick) upon which the cast Iron plate rests.
