Terrific shade, ok fit
First and foremost, the shading of these glasses is spectacular. My trees, flowers and bushes are all so clear, and their color is true. However, since they are intended for my work in my garden, I have found that they are not snug enough to stay on when I am bent over, or if I turn quickly. It is quite bothersome to always have to push them back on as I work or move around my yard. The other issue are the little plastic side pieces. They have a slot where the rae pieces fit into as the glasses are closed. Well, the left side slot does not line up correctly so there have been a few times whereby the side piece has completely popped off as I open the glasses. I have had to put one side piece back on a few times. Again, bothersome, and concerning, because one of the main selling points of these glasses are the side pieces. Yesterday I had to search around for the side piece.

Stylish, supremem comfort, perfect for alpine pursuits
I bought these as a back-up pair to my Millenium REACTIV 2-4 sunglasses, primarily for ski touring and alpine hikes. The Slack, like the Millenium, are super lightweight, very compact, and easily stowe inside a Julbo soft case, taking up little space inside my pack. But there when I need them. Also work well to wear off the mountain, as they have a classic and stylish appearance. My temples are pretty sensitive to arm pinch on sunglasses, but these I barely notice are there. No pinching, or discomfort. I've had good luck with the fit of the Rush (137mm front), Millenium (138mm front) and now the Slack (138mm front), all are wide enough to keep the arms from pushing against my temples. At the same time, I don't feel like the glasses are going to fall off. I wear them with a strap, but I've never had them accidentally fall off my face, or slide down my nose. The Spectron 3 lenses work well for most conditions throughout a sunny and/or partly sunny day. Get the Spectron HD polarized version if you want a more contrasty pop to your vision. The Spectron 3 and 4 are more like neutral density filters, they cut the light, without increasing contrast. I tend to go back and forth between polarized vs. non-polarized, so I cannot claim one to be better than the other, as it depends on the day, conditions, etc.

Great!
These glasses look nice, fit really well and are going to be great for my Mt.Rainier trip.
