After the strings arrived, I put them on and readjusted the setup due to the different tension. Since all my basses are equipped with La Bella Flatwounded strings, the sound was as expected, but also incredibly soothing. The tone is very defined, slim yet plump and lush with a touch of vintage. If I tweak the preamp on my Ibanez BTB605MS a little more, the tone even becomes a bit woody and reminiscent of a double bass. And I love that these strings are so incredibly smooth and play wonderfully. A special thank you to Jason for making these wonderful strings possible!!!
