Works but not well thought out

The toilet is wide and heavy making installation harder than it should be, requiring 2 people. The required T for the 2 water supply hoses is big, unattractive and hard to install. The angle stop has to be moved to 10” from center. Programming is hard and simple things like setting the temperature is awkward, you press a temp button to see where it is and it advances the temperature. Smart toilet should also be WiFi enabled and that would help many issues. Like having a schedule for temperature and flush function.

Too bad…

To be honest, I am very disappointed. The posterior wash is poor at best. Even with 2 cycles it rarely does a complete job. The dryer is not very effective and certainly does not provide a simple ise and walk away experience, unless you like damp underwear. My perception was that maintenance and cleaning would be less than with a traditional toilet. Seems completely false. For all the claims of special surfaces etc things stick to the bowl like crazy and thr design toward the back of the seat makes an over hung area that attracts remnants like crazy and is difficult to clean. I had to buy a spray bottle specifically to spray that area. Also, if it is supposed to use this foam product, why would you not include a sample? I cannot find out if is scented (I hate scented products) so I don’t know if I could stand using it or if it would help if I did. When I called support pre purchase to find an installer all they did was ask for my zip code and then said “nope, we don’t have anyone near you. I am 20m from San Francisco, so REALLY? Wish I had chosen a different product from a different company
