I picked up the Healing Downpour shampoo and conditioner bars recently along with the Masculine Power soap (which you can see my review of on its page). I think it's been about a week since I got them. Maybe a few days over a week. They smell great—rosemary hits me the hardest, though I’m not the best at picking apart herb scents. It’s pleasant and not too much, which I like. The shampoo lathers up nicely, even though the site mentions some worry about it being sulfate-free and not foaming well. No issues here—it does the job. The conditioner bar doesn’t lather much, but that’s not a problem. You can still work it into your hair easily, and I can feel it spreading around up there. Afterward, I can tell it’s been used—my hair feels different, in a good way. I’m not usually a conditioner guy, but I’ve been using both with this set. The shampoo really shines at cleaning—strips out all the dirt and grime. I know it’s working because my hair squeaks when I rub it between my fingers before the conditioner goes on. If you’re looking for a solid duo that cleans well and smells good, these bars are worth a shot.
