Small room air purifiers

I like the small room air purifiers. They are quieter than the large one I have that has a low hum when it’s blue and at 0. The hum can be slightly grating so I enjoy that the smaller models don’t do this. However there is no light to indicate when the filter needs to be changed. The instruction booklet indicates a button that doesn’t exist on the model.

Very helpful for peace of mind

I bought a large unit and two small room units during the wildfires up in Ely Minnesota. The smoke was so bad here. The blue Air purifiers arrived very quickly and immediately began cleaning the air. I have a blue air purifier in my room which is probably 15 or 20 years old. It runs all the time. These new units only run when it needs to clean the air and when it senses that it needs to turn on. I really like that feature. Not only can we breathe better, but it has helped very much with the anxiety about the air quality.

Faulty air pollution sensors?

The purifiers look good and run quietly. Unfortunately, their pollution sensors don’t seem to work. They both show consistently 0 PM2.5. I doubt that this can be true, and it does not correspond the reading of my air conditioning.
