Carnforth: Barefoot Chukka Boot (Wide Toe Box)

For me these boots are not an "all day" wear. I can get 4 -6 hours before my feet begin to hit. They look great out of the box. The natural wide toe box was another big plus. Now fir my negatives l, the lack of cushioning are deal breakers for extended work day wear. The quality of the leather is disappointing, leather boots are supposed to crease and get that lived in look. After only a few months, the wear looks excessive. At this price point, I expected better from Birchbury. No need to offer discounts on future purchases, I won't be buying from birchbury again.

They are beautiful, well made shoes. I need more padding under my foot to feel comfortable. The slip-on feature didn’t work for me. The regular laces are longer than necessary. Wish I was happier but I’m new to these shoes.

I think you guys nailed it. It's a very good looking shoe and incredibly comfortable. I really like that it's very flexible yet has enough thickness underneath that my feet don't get fatigued throughout the day. Also love the leather lining inside
