Acorn Wooden Workbench With Double Shelf

My new bench.

Just assembled it. Easy. Lovely smoothed pine. The working surface is made of 9x4cm beams joined together. The two shelves are equally massive, as solid as the top, and also constructed of 9x4cm beams - so there has been no compromise of material there, and they give much additional stability. Even the side and fore-and-aft bracers are lengths of 6X4cm solid pine. The whole bench is absolutely stable and solid. The worktop in precisely 90 cm high. The quality of the pine is very good indeed, with a pleasing look and feel. The design is clever and deceptively simple. All components fit together flush, absolutely nothing fiddly, and my bench is a solid as a rock. It looks great in my garage. I love the simplicity and practicality of wood especially chunky pine. Glad I bought it.

The delivery was very swift and the delivery drive was really friendly. The bench if very thick wood, very simple to put together and extremely sturdy bench. Using in it my garage for radio repair and a full size bench saw plus a vertical drill and there still space for fixing my vintage radios. A very good product.

Excellent workbench, highly recommended!

Excellent workbench, absolutely rigid when built. It took me about an hour to assemble it single-handed, the only tool required is a Pozidrive screwdriver. It is heavy, so if you are slight of build, another person assisting would be helpful. All parts fitted together perfectly, no adjustments necessary. Delivery was much quicker than advertised; they send you a four hour delivery slot the day before it arrives. There is almost no packaging, just some plastic wrap around the short struts and fixings to keep them together. I am delighted with my purchase, it is extremely good value for money. Highly recommended!
