Rapco 30117 Camouflage Earth Red

Sadly, not up to expectations

In general, I find the Rapco paints to be quite good. Good coverage, if messy nozzles (please license Krylon Camo nozzles or something). The 30117 Camouflage Earth Red was a particularly rough experience. First: it is thin- it took two coats to make sure my pattern was opaque enough to cover the base coat. Secondly: wow, it splattered terribly. Maybe it was because it was so thin, but this sent droplets all over my carefully patterned gun. I then I had to go back over those dots manually with a paint brush to 'erase' them. This is not up to the usual quality of Rapco. I do not recommend at this time.

Everything was easy! Prep, & wait between coats took the longest. It's pretty much idiot proof!
