I installed the Wolfbox G850 Pro in my 2021 Ford F-150 XLT SuperCrew using the hardwire kit with the rear camera mounted above my license plate. The installation took a few hours because I wanted to route everything cleanly, but overall it was very straightforward. The first thing that impressed me was the video quality. Both the front and rear cameras are incredibly sharp. The rear camera has such a wide field of view that it has essentially replaced my factory rearview mirror. Between the higher mounting position and wider angle, I can see significantly more than I ever could with a traditional mirror. The mirror itself also looks surprisingly OEM in a full-size truck. I was worried it might look oversized, but on an F-150 it actually feels like it belongs there. After only a couple of drives, it already feels like one of those upgrades you wonder how you lived without. The hardwire kit and parking mode work exactly as expected, and I really appreciate being able to customize the display. I chose to leave GPS enabled while removing the speed display, which keeps the screen clean while still embedding location data into the recordings. A couple of things to know before buying: * The app works, but it’s probably the weakest part of the experience. There is no cloud connectivity, so if you want to review recordings, you need to connect directly to the camera’s Wi-Fi while you’re in or near the vehicle. It would be great if future updates allowed automatic syncing of locked clips to your phone over your home Wi-Fi. * My rear camera is mounted to the license plate, and there is a slight amount of vibration on rough roads. It’s nothing that affects usability, and I believe it’s more a characteristic of mounting to the license plate than the camera itself. Overall, this has quickly become one of my favorite upgrades. The digital rearview mirror alone is worth it, and the image quality exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a premium mirror-style dash cam and don’t mind the lack of cloud features, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the G850 Pro.

No issues other than finding a path for the wires. Plug-n-play.
