This was a great book that walks the reader through the tense moments of a modern day standoff unlike any other. The storyteller that Monier has shown himself to be is one that demonstrates the narrative of a patient approach of a man and team determined to avoid a Waco, but weaves the story of the inner struggles that most people never knew about until now.

A great and accurate account of the stand-off with tax deniers Ed & Elaine Brown. The patience, determination and professionalism of the US Marshals resolving this tense situation without a shot being fired or anyone getting hurt is highly commendable. Thank you to all involved! Great book Marshal.
