Turquoise Glass Pendant with Infused Cremation Ashes

I'm disappointed in the color of the pendant, which is nothing like the aqua blue shown on the website. It's not ugly, but it's also not remotely turquoise, which is how the color is described on the site. In real life it's distinctly teal. If there had been a range of blues available, teal is the last one I would have chosen. The color is imparted by a solid-colored background, and there's a clear "bubble" of glass over that where the contrasting swirls and ashes are deposited. I was told that the color depends on the temperature at which the piece is produced, but if that's the case, and if it varies, then the website description should reflect that. Spirit Pieces offered to make another pendant for me, but since they couldn't guarantee a different outcome I decided against it. I still wear the piece I received, but when I look at it I'm always a little disappointed by the color.
