Glass Sunflower Bead with Infused Cremains

I received my sunflower bead today. I was under the impression that the sunflower was part of the glass bead work but it appears to be painted on and then sealed with something. It's still beautiful and you can definitely see the access inside the bead which I also find unusual since it's supposed to be hot glass but I'm not a glass worker so what do I know.
