New favorite disc
I bought this disc because it was on sale rediculously cheap and I was already purchasing a putting disc so I gave the Kapre a try. I've started disc golf as a hobby for about a month. The Kapre is my new favorite mid range disc. At my power and skill level, this disc gives me great distance and control. Even the cheapest plastic in this disc has a great feel and grip. I make shorter distances with my forearm throws than my back hand, but the Kapre is just as dependable from either position. I'll likely buy another Kapre soon to keep a spare and try a higher grade plastic blend. Very predictable fade and turn as I improve my skills from purely straight flying discs, my other go to disc is the Wombat 3. I'm building my collection of discs as inexpensively as possible as I learn the game until my skill level grows to the point I can use more dramatically turning/fading and higher speed discs. Very pleased with the performance of the Kapre. Boosted my confidence and skills after just a few throws and a short time practicing with the disc. Also, customer service was excellent. I had made a mistake in my shipping address and the first delivery was returned as undeliverable. Customer service corrected my address as soon as I emailed them and resent my order ASAP.

You need this disc
Spent several hours with the Kapre yesterday. The disc performed equally well off the tee for tunnel shots and from the fairway finding a line to the basket. The deepish rim in the slightly tacky plastic gives a solid grip for tee shots but not so deep as to interfere in a finesse shot out of trouble. This is a straight flier with plenty of glide.

Great beginner disc
Feel: the max value soft plastic is very grippy in the hand and feels comfortable. It is surprisingly solid and durable for a more rubbery disc/value mold. Flight: it is true to its rating. If thrown flat it goes stable. If thrown slight hyzer it will turn and fade back right to its line. I find myself using it between 150-200ft in narrow shots where I need a bit of glide.
