Taruca Rogue 6FT Awning

6’ awning mounted on factory crossbars was a challenge, but with some plates, bolts, it worked. I added a third crossbar and bracket to my Dodge Grand Caravan set up. Recently camped at an ocean beach campground and the awning was solid in the wind using tie down anchors.

IMHO Taruca makes the best awning

Recently went out on a 5 day trip with some friends. My Taruca 6 ft awning was so easy to deploy and put away compared to their awnings from other brands. It is sturdier than other comparable quick deploying awnings also. People kept asking who made my awning. The cover is heavy duty and spacious for easy storage. The only complaint I would have is the zippers became hard to zip up around the corners of the cover after a few rainy and muddy days. I’m going to use some zipper lubricant on it and see if zips around the corners easier.

I met Brent and Daniel at the Southeast overlanding event and they were great to speak with. They showed us around all the products and discussed option for mounting. We chose the 6ft awning for our setup and desired height. Daniel to my order that weekend and it shipped out on Tuesday. Arrived packaged well and installation was very easy. Quality is great. Setup snd tear down only take a minute literally. We are looking forward to getting it out in the trails and using it soon. Would highly recommend.
