Third time is not a charm

I'm on my third set of wipers in a year - this is because I got one for my car and loved it so much I got one for my wife's car, then I had to replace my car and I got some for my new (to me) car. Two of the cars they're brilliant on, but this third set is leaving streaks that resemble a WiFi icon. Equal spacing, every 2-3 inches I've got a hard streak. Each wiper leaving 5 or 6 equally spaced streaks. Those streaks appear to be on the other side of the supports, but after a couple of rains it appears it's ground the blade rubber into the windshield. Not an experience I had with the others.
