sometimes simple is the answer

Funny how so many people can have so many opinions and solutions for a Cooper with a battery that runs down every few days. Upon inspection, I noticed the ground wire in the engine compartment had a bit of melted insulation. People said that is not likely the problem to my battery issue. The problem was corrosion to where the wire attached to the MINI's frame. About $20 and only a few days for shipping, it's been a few weeks, and after several excursions, the voltage and amps holding steady. When I look for parts for my MINIs, these guys are my first stop.
