Great for Wind, not so much Rain

Have worn this jacket quite a bit here in the recent heavy rain we've received and throughout the end of spring and have been very impressed with the ability of cutting wind. I love how it can be packed into the breast pocket and not take up much room in a a pack. However, the jacket has leaked and allowed me to get wet in a steady light rain and it came through the sleeves on my forearms. And then I had the jacket on to run out to grab something in a heavy rain and in less than 5 minutes, my shoulders and back were completely soaked. Will definitely be using this during season but I'm gonna have to go through and waterproof the whole jacket prior to season.

Packable rainwear

The Bodyloc Raptor is as advertised. It is not designed for heavy all-day rain. That being said it is perfect for mist, light rain, a quick rain shower, or as an extra layer to keep mild weather out. Were it shines is its light-weightiness and packability. If you are looking for something to stow fast in a pack that doesn't take much extra room, and you can’t tell it’s there then this is for you. It feels comfortable and allows for (somewhat quite) movement.

Rare miss.

Let’s start with the good: This thing looks very cool, and the hood is designed beautifully. The pocket has a slit to access jacket pockets underneath it, which is genius. The bad: it has absolutely zero water resistance. The lightest of drizzles will wet it out. - The sleeves and body are comically long and large, I am a pretty true XXL in everything and I could probably wear a L in this. - The front zipper may be the worst zipper ever produced on earth. Upon zipping it, it will immediately separate starting at the bottom of the jacket. All in all, I got it for $79 and it’s a cool light jacket for $79, I am sorry if you bought it at full price.
