Time for Combat

I really want this to be a 4.5. Boots are comfy from day one. Waterproofed them and their first use was snowy walks on back to back days. Usual great quality. Speed hooks and eyelets are a lower grade than my other pairs but that was expected and reflected in the price. My issue is the welt. What is the material? An email says it is leather but looks odd to me. In the end, these were purchased to take a beating and as long as my feet stay dry it’s all good

These are my second pair of Truman boots, so I don't have a lot of experience with his brand. So my first pair was the Java in Brown which I really like these seem to have a little controversy on the internet because the the leather people comparing to the coyote so I really don't know how to compare to those but to the Java they seem as well built I did buy these in a half size larger because the recommended have sites down was just a little tight but broken and fits perfectly but I have size or my normal size I can wear with a heavier sock so I'll be using these mostly in the winter, overall these are very nice boots the leather is sturdy and thick. For the price a very good deal. But they don't give you leather laces with them not a deal breaker, and the soles are the same as on the Java. Very little break in time break if any. I like the 360 storm welt would have liked to have gotten it on the Java put those boots are very very nice overall. Purchases on Black Friday sale for very good price. These boots will be for yard work and kicking around I expect to put them through a lot so we'll see how it goes I think they will well!
