would have been a 5!!!! - NO-DOUBT-ABOUT-IT.....GREAT STAND, STRONG AND EASY SETUP AND TAKE DOWN.....FITS the gong perfectly and set right where i wanted it to be --- LOVE it, Now i can also play the songs i know that needed the gong -- so that is a good thing. RATED a 4.5555.......reason.... got the gong as a gift, bought the stand and then needed a mallet...... NO HOOK to hang MALLET.....suggestion.... drill a small hole on top bar either side (depends on where you place/need the mallet) and add a HOOK in the package....and you have for yourself one hell of a setup......then you would get a '10'
