Love ‘em
Buying jeans online is always a bit of a gamble but I’ve had good experience with ripton so I gave these a shot. Honestly- they are some of the most comfortable jeans I’ve owned. I am truly so tired of jeans being restrictive and tight and these are not that… they’re stretchy and roomy. I’m 5’3 and 145lbs, very athletic build with a big butt and thighs. I got a size 29 with the shorter inseam length. I could have gone with 28, but I wanted some extra room for comfort. I’d say if you’re between sizes, you could go either way depending on how you want them to fit. Length is perfect. They wash and dry well. My only beef is that they do stretch out a bit with wear, especially if sitting for a while. so if that bothers you maybe go a size down and deal with tight jeans right after washing. They’ll loosen up nicely.

If only...
For reference I'm 5'7, 30" waist and 40" hip. I fit a size 29 in other Ripton jeans which is what I ordered. Sadly these sit below my natural waist & were too tight to be comfortable there, despite the hip & length being insanely perfect. If I hiked em up to sit at my waist, they did fit but... you can imagine what that did to the front, YIKES. The material feels very sturdy, the Pit Stop color was fabulous, & really everything about these seemed top notch except the rise. I sent em back but if something like this comes about in the future with a high waist like on the Superlite, I'll buy them all.
