Great North American Eclipse 2024

A great way to remember.

This is a neat round to commemorate the Great North American Eclipse and who better to do it than North American Mint? I remember the event well since my house was smack-dab under the path of totality and I sat out on my deck the during the entire show. This round has a nice global type of map of North America...frosted...surrounded by the shiny oceans and complete with latitude and longitude lines and the path of totality marked...along with date...and be sure to check the U.S. Northwest on the map...all three countries symbols are displayed...very cool. The other side has a frosted 'North American Mint' logo along with the weight and purity...very nice. I am getting up there in my advanced years and had forgotten the date of the eclipse...it was such a beautiful day that I was thinking it happened during the summertime...but the date on the round reminded me that it was early Spring. A real nice keepsake and it came in a hard plastic capsule...so I will not stack this one but keep it out on the dresser or just carry it in my pocket...that way I'll never forget the date again.
