Explorer Wide Toebox for Men in Light Green

Finally—shoes where my toes truly don't touch the interior anywhere. They are very comfortable and sturdy, but also very heavy. Compared to the Sunside Slippers (181 g) or the Pearl White Runners (270 g), these are truly substantial—tipping the scales at a hefty 468 g apiece. And you definitely feel it. As for quality, they will likely last forever; however, they will serve me primarily as casual shoes for spring, autumn, and winter, as they are simply too heavy for summer (when I wear my Pearl White Runners or Sunside Slippers), for sports, or for long hiking trips. Nevertheless, I truly love these shoes, and they will most certainly bring me joy for a very long time—thank you for them.

They Actually Fit!

What I love about these is the wide toe box. They don't just say it's wide and then cram your toes into "style". Nope, these shoes have room for ALL FIVE of your toes and are, in general, the shape of a human foot! What a concept! 8000 Kicks has nailed it here. If they don't continue this production line, they are making a huge mistake. I am a customer of these wide toe box shoes for life. I also love the subtle earth tones - good stuff!

Space, all the Space!

This is my second pair of shoes from 8000 Kicks, and I was ecstatic when I first learned they would be doing a shoe for us wide foot-having folks. I have a foot that could best de described as the shape of a diving flipper, and the Explorer Wide Toe Box for Men accommodated them perfectly. My toes have so much room for activities! I went with a size up (12 instead of 11) as recommended, and it was definitely the right move. The craftsmanship and quality of the shoe is exactly what I have come to expect from 8000 Kicks (I have bought 2 pairs and shoes and 1 backpack), with great looks and exceptional durability. Keep it up guys, I can't wait for the next big release!
