I'm trying to minimize excess weight hiking up in Alpine areas. This seems like it will work perfectly. The leg loops can be put on over your head if you're worried about putting them on while wearing Crampons. I wish they were still making these, some of the best Leaf gear is discontinued and harder to find now.
