I was amazed by the strawberry plants I received--I've never seen a healthier root system with purchased bundles. I planted them in October in zone 7a and they took root very quickly. Within a week, there were even some new leaves forming. About 10 days after planting, I noticed that one had been uprooted, or maybe I had overlooked planting it. It was a bit dried out, but I planted it and hoped for the best. It recovered within days and I have no fear that it will make it through the winter. I look forward to the harvest next summer.
