Mini awl with rosewood handle

Great little tool. I’ve already used it to frog (sadly) a stitching mistake and it’s so smooth and comfortable in my hand I almost don’t mind having to tear out the stitches. Nice price, too!

Lovely tool that fits in the hand very well. It also has the benefit of being easier to find than a needle if it happens to flip out and land in the carpet while frogging. The needle is about a #22 at the tip, so just a bit big for finer cross stitches, but still workable.

This is just perfect for my cross stitch projects. The day the awl arrived I needed to remove a few stitches. The tip of the awl does not tear the fabric and it is easy to place under the stitch. Very happy with this product.
