The OWC enclosure allowed me to connect a WD Black SN850X 2TB NVMe drive to my iMac. It performs brilliantly, delivering excellent performance: 3000 MB/s read and write, which is as fast (or fatser) than the iMac's internal drive.

A Great Addition to a MAC Mini 4

I’ve now been using the enclosure connected to my MAC Mini 4 for two weeks, with 4TB of added memory. No performance issues have been encountered. The write and read speed is maintained around 3000 MB/s.

Well engineered and fast!

I used this for a 4TB Samsung 990 PRO SSD to use with my Mac Mini M2 Pro (2023) and was able to get approx 3000MBps sustained read and write speeds using Blackmagic's Disk Speed Test. Installation was very straightforward. DriveDx reported a stable 42C ssd temperature in a 22C ambient environment.
