This is the almond cake scent to end all almond cakes. Absolute perfection. Almondy note that doesnt vanish instantly, realistic but not cloying cake notes, buttery but not heavy, long lasting but not.overbearing. Maybe my favorite new discovery! Amazing I love this perfume. I need to get a full size but I’m able to carry this smaller decant in my purse for touch ups though this fragrance is a beast and rarely needs a reapply. It’s delicious and gourmand. It reminds me of a creamy almond pastry; there’s definitely a buttery note that pairs well with creamy almond. 10/10

Smoky Vanilla

I liked it but didn't love it. The dry down felt very synthetic. The open a classic vanilla gourmand. I should have saved my money and gotten Soooo Exquis (truly). Because Sooo Exquis is a truly special offering from Jousset that captures what I think of when I think of Quebec and Montreal. I had the pleasure of meeting Dimitri in the store on a cold day in late March this year, and I hope to save up to get Sooo Exquis to remind me of my visit. Bought Jest there the week of the release. Fabulous. And great great store.
