XL Catalyst Pedal

Have struggled for years finding a pedal that would feel comfortable for my sz14's.The xl's feel great and make me feel more connected with my bike.

This is my 4th pair of pedals. The customer service is top notch and the pedals are a notch higher. I use to like the Catalyst but after trying the Catalyst XL it’s all I will ride. The extra width is a game changer!

I’ve ridden the Catalyst XL pedals for 4-5 rides now, and they’ve honestly made a bigger difference than I expected. On rocky, rutted trails, the bike feels calmer under me—less twitchy, more centered. I can shift my foot forward or back a little depending on the terrain, and the platform still supports me. I've crested a difficult hump whereas before I would have dabbed. The stability on descents is the biggest win. Between these pedals, my suspension seat post, and my suspension headset, the bike feels like it handles the bumps for me. It's a new stable feeling on fire trail descents! Only downside: I’ve taken a couple of hits to my right shin. These pedals are not soft, and the studs are no joke. It’s not a flaw, just something to be aware of if you’re used to smaller platforms. I used Power Grip straps before this and find the Catalyst pedals feel even more stable. I have a size 14 foot. Overall, I’m really happy with them and plan to keep them on the bike full-time.
