Gen 3 Power Hub for Group 25 Kits

I did an upgrade from GEN 2 to GEN 3 and all went easy and I didn't even look at the installation instructions. I apparently did it correctly since everything works, It took about 30 minutes to swap. I'm hoping the battery switching works better in this generation. With the new Odessey batteries and the upgraded Hub, everything is working great, even my RSI power steps which have issues if the battery power isn't correct. So far, I'm very happy with the upgrade.

The Genesis Offroad dual battery kit is hands down the most useful, and beneficial upgrade I have made to my 2018 Jeep JL wrangler Rubicon. I have had the kit for about 7 years and have upgraded it each time Genesis has made a update. I run a ARB compressor, air lockers, Baja Designs lights, Warn Winch and Dometic Fridge. Having the peace of mind of the fully charged AUX battery there and at the ready is truly great. While also having the ability to jumpstart myself in a pinch by linking both batteries is truly a lifesaver when you are fully remote and out wheeling. Overall, I fully recommend this kit to anyone, you will find benefit in it.

While I do like this product, I think you guys made one small design error. The housing that the top cover plate snaps into is made from metal. Therefore you have a very high likelihood of shorting the metal ground to the positive terminals of the battery connector. Seems like that frame could be made from some other material or possible coat it with a non electric liner. Otherwise, a nice upgrade to the original design. Thank you, G.
