Upstate Blues Texture Wax

Excellent product

I have thick (very dense) hair with individual strands that are medium to coarse. As such, clays don’t work for me, because I don’t need the added structure and volume they provide, it becomes too much and my hair winds up looking awful. Enter Upstate Blues, a wax that coats the hair and adds the control I need to hold the structure built during pre-styling. This stuff is fantastic. It’s super smooth going in, with no tug, and provides a nice natural matte (not dull/chalky) finish. I like to run my hands through my hair (4-4.5 inches on top, styled in a quiff) so I don’t like products that stay super present in the hair and leave my hands feeling coated after running them through. Once Upstate Blues settles into the hair, it feels like there is nothing in it at all, but I still have the ability to push it back into shape, and all the texture the product provides. It’s become a new favorite of mine. A little goes a long way too, start with about half as much as you think you need, and slowly add more if you think it’s necessary.

USPS is terrible, Product is great

Package took over a week to get to me because of a shipping error. NJ to MD and the package ended up in Alabama. Please look into another carrier. Products are great and this one is no different. A bit creamier consistency to start with, but has a dry finish. Does leave a bit of a sheen in my hair but I don’t mind. Little goes a long way. Smell is nice.

This is the equivalent of the cremo high hold. Its obviously much better. I love these products.
