Our favorite type of furikake here at Bernal Cutlery- bright, aromatic and savory. Made with red shiso grown in Wakayama Prefecture and umesu (ume vinegar) which is a byproduct when you make umeboshi. Shiso is carefully moistened and massaged with the umesu, heat dried, and made into flakes.
