It took me less than 5 minutes to install the adapter after the initial hurdle of removing the cover where the sunroof control is. But after that everything was done easily.

I installed it in my Mazda 6/2019, everything fits perfectly. It was a 5 minutes work to install it according to the video. Just skip the fitcamx part(first 20s). Everything else is the same. As far as I see I can always upgrade to a fitcamx and not need the sunroof Y cable. Overall I'm pretty impressed with the device and I power a dashcam and a radar detector with it.
