I was not impressed with bulky this unit is. Other readers provide the same functionality and are much smaller

does everything i need mainly wanted to get the trans temp in my jeep

Scanner seems to work as intended after two uses.

Scanner seems to work as intended but the manual is not a lot of help so it will take time to become adept at using. Construction seems to be very good so expect it to last a long time. Nice case the unit came in and supplied cables will permit to use for whatever one wants. All in all satisfied after two uses (1997 Isuzu Hombre and 2006 Honda Pilot - both of which the automatic VIN lookup function failed so do not know how well that function works - manually input worked for both vehicles BUT vin numbers are soooo long it is a pain to have to input and it isn't clear if doing so is an advantage or not). Glad I purchased it although delivery took longer than I had hoped for.
