depends what you need them for

I got these specifically because I was hoping to use them to shorten very small springs (contact springs in epee tips) but the rivet holding them together isn't robust enough to make the tips of the blades line up so they just twist rather than cut through the spring steel. I get better results from Army Painter clippers for plastic models. Disappointing for me. But they seem like they'd be fine if I was cutting at the back of the blades. (but then what's the point of the taper?)
