Great portable strong travel rod

This rod fills a special niche as it’s difficult to find a rod that can handle 50 to 80 pounds and yet be portable. The four pieces break down to 22 inches that can then fit into travel bags quite easily. Excellent construction. “Screw on” Ferrell sections make it secure. One of The Ferrells was tight, but Ferrell wax solved that immediately. The rod is a bit heavy (fiberglass?) , but willing to endure the weight to be sure that it’s strong enough to handle heavy fish And yet be portable!

Unbelievablely good product. Rare example where value exceeds the asking price.
