Hardware: excellent so far. Build quality, the resistance modes, and the data output have all been very good in early use, and I'm happy with the device itself. Where I'm stuck is support. I sent a detailed technical query about Overspeed (assisted) mode several days ago and have not had a reply. My questions are specific and one of them is safety-relevant: I need to know exactly what the "Recovery" setting governs, because I run overspeed only a small percentage over the athlete's tested maximum velocity and precise control of the cable/tow speed matters. I also asked about the correct Overspeed setup sequence on the tablet, how the assistance force and speed settings interact, and whether assistance can be applied to only part of the run. The product looks like a 5-star tool. The support response, so far, is the only thing holding that back. I'd happily revise this once the technical questions are answered.

Game Changing device
I’ve been using T-APEX with my high school sprinters since July, and it has been a game changer for our program. The biggest impact has been in acceleration development. It gives athletes instant feedback on body angle and force application. Instead of just telling kids to “stay low” or “push longer,” they can actually feel what proper acceleration angles and horizontal force production are supposed to be. That alone has helped clean up mechanics in a way drills alone never did. The overspeed component has also been huge. It safely exposes athletes to higher outputs than they can create on their own, which has improved coordination and confidence at top speed. They learn to move faster without tightening up, and that carries over into fly runs and racing. It’s now a staple in our weekly training. If you coach speed and want athletes to better understand how to apply force and run with intent, this tool delivers.
