Perfect, works pretty well just what i need for my rig

Got it installed. The struts are great. It’s really strong. I have a c4 ladder and a mountain ridge xl bag loaded and it goes up no problem. When installing, you really have to push your hatch all the way open to make it fit. Only issue I have is one of the strut makes a metal scraping noise internally when my hatch goes up so I probably got a bad one. Will see how long they last.

Works great. Even with my C4 ladder on AND the tailgate window rolled down these have no problem lifting the tailgate ALL the way up. If you’ve been putting this off since you bought a ladder, just buy it. Took under 2 mins to install.
