Pentel Graph Gear 1000 Mechanical Drafting Pencil

This is one of the best mechanical pencils I have ever used including more expensive types.

Sturdy and reliable

I have been a fan of the Pentel Graph Gear 1000 for a long time now and this is my second one. They feel solid (a full metal case) yet not too heavy. Prolonged use in one sitting does tend to cause some hand fatigue though. Overall, the Graph Gear 1000 is well built to last and is comfortable to write with, retracting the tip when not in use to protect the tip.
