Reading Journal - Sugar & Spice

This journal is STUNNING!! Even more beautiful in person!! I totally lusted over this journal for like 2 months and finally I decided to go for it. I love reading so much, and I wanted something as equally beautiful to keep track of my favorite hobby. If I’m honest the price kept me holding out. But it was totally worth it! The quality is amazing and there is so much to track and it’s a 3 year journal so when you think of it the price wasn’t bad at all!! I am so happy with my journal!!

I love the design and the colours of the book. There are loads of sections, but, and this is why I gave it 4 stars, there are too many sections. 1. I like the bookshelf pages, I've covered the pages in print outs of my book covers. 2. Reading goals & to do list - I have no use for this section so all pages are blank. 3. Reading tracker - there are some ticks but I haven't been on the ball so really, they're wasted pages too. 4. Reading challenges - haven't used this section, so more wasted pages. 5. To be read - written all my books here, it's handy because I can circle what I've 'read'. 6. Wishlist - not used this section. 7. Quick reviews - filling up well, I love this section :) 8. Reviews & reflections - so far I've written in all my books, but tbh, I struggle with writing, so some of the boxes are blank. I don't fill in the 3 sections on the bottom of the Title page. Why is there 2 favourite character boxes? One should be 'the best villian', or something like that. This section could be cut down by a page. 9. Reading statistics - I like this section, I had fun writing my stats at New Year. 10. Book Awards - again, enjoyed this section, writing down my Audible stats blew my mind! 11, 12 & 13. Quotes, library card and blank space - no uses for these pages so I've been using them to do scrapbook/junk journal spreads. All in all, it's a good journal, but as detailed above, just too many sections for me. Sydonie, have you thought about a journal for audio books only? That's how my 'reading' is done, as I travel a lot and listen to books at the gym rather than music (which bores me).

I’m having so much fun with my reading journal. Sure you can track it digitally but it’s so much more satisfying and rewarding seeing everything written down. I even use a sticker printed someone’s recommended to show the book cover as well as my favorite characters in the review section. I’m in love with this and will never regret buying it.
