PCIe expansion for Mac Book Pro

I bought the OWC Mercury Helios 3S Thunderbolt 3 PCIe Expansion Solution to connect an RME HDSPe MADI card to my Mac Book Pro laptop. Out of the box it gives the impression of being a high quality, well designed device. It worked perfectly with the PCIe card installed and has the added benefit of charging the laptop through the thunderbolt cable at the same time. The RME card has a daughter card and there’s a slot for that too even though there is only one PCIe slot. Have done several hours recording already with no issues. Highly recommended.
