Very cute very twirly

Overall the dress came together beautifully. It is super cute and super twirly! I did feel that the princess seams didn't line up quite as well as I would have hoped, but it wasn't a huge issue. My only real complaint is the one that I made for my 8 year old I used the elastic back option to allow it to fit longer and there is a gap in the back. I also think that using multiple channels for smaller elastic instead of one big channel would have been better and I would consider doing that in the future. Overall I think it is a very cute pattern and I really like the skirt on this. I love how the way it is done allows you to use a directional pattern as well!

The sweetest summer dress!

My daughter has gotten so many compliments about her Alice dress. I made size 4 and it’s a perfect fit in terms of length and bodice size. The directions were clear and it sewed up in about 3 hours total (And I am not the most experienced sewer in the world). This is the second pattern and third dress that I’ve made from Violette Field Threads and it will not be my last!!
