Me and my kids have always been bug magnets (because we're so sweet lol) but my kids are very sensitive to smells and textures, they dislike sprays, and one is very anxious about chemicals like DEET especially near her face. This roll on actually helps prevent bug bites without being overly "smelly" (I actually like the smell). It is made of safe ingredients and very easy to apply with a texture that my kids tolerate. My 9 year old actually stole mine for camp so I had to get more. It's a great size to throw into your bag and have around, I always carry one in my purse and have saved more than one person's skin by passing it around at gatherings.
