I purchased the FLARE+ BA15S (1156) to replace a spent reverse globe of Illumo's previous model. While I am very pleased with the performance of the globe I found that the bayonet connection part of the globe is too short for the standard socket on my ute due to a seemingly shortened shank of the bayonet cap. The wide shoulder at the base of the globe itself prevents further insertion of the globe to engage the slots of the socket. I had to modify the globe to effect operation. That said, I would purchase this globe again and can recommend to anyone looking for superior LED performance.
